Dec 2015 – Present Senior QA Engineer at Renovate America.

·               Duties included: Design, develop and test a Document Inspection Test Automation Framework within a scrum team consisting of 3 senior qa engineers.

 

Dec 2013 – Nov 2015 QA Engineer at AutoAnything.

·               Duties included: Created Test Automation Framework using Selenium Webdriver to test Data Mapping software.  Created/Developed custom test tools using C#/SQL to test .net web applications.  Generated test plans, test cases and test procedures for all development work items with any given sprint.  Merged and tested code from team development branch down to the QA test environments.  Developed test automation software through use of selenium test automation framework to test critical website components. Presented team’s achieved goals at the sprint review.

 

May 2013 – Nov 2013 Software Integration & Test Engineer at C3Networx.

·               Duties included: Created/Developed custom test tools using Java/Powershell to test JMS SOA infrastructure.  Created test procedures that map to SRS requirements.  Performed testing of infrastructure and integrated components based on created test procedures.  Performed integration/configuration of UDOP visualization client. Created a message injector/DB polling tool for sending messages into the message processor and then have the DB query tool view the messages in the DB.  A java swing tool was created to visualize this process. 

 

Mar. 2006 – May 2013 Software Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology.

·               Duties included: Assisted in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of application programs. Participated in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhanced existing software.  Configuration Manager/Integrator/Developer (Platform: Windows clients/Solaris 10 Servers), PTR development (Java/C/Perl/Ant/Make)

For TCWS project listed below, I created 3 virtual machines: (Windows 2k8 R2, WSUS and Adobe Connect), Powershell scripting was used to plug in network info into the OS and application at deployment time.  I was heavily involved in design of the project and CM.

Team Document Inspection

·               The document inspection team was created to be the last line of defense between the code and documents used by customers.  The framework consists of a back end utilizing Microsoft Sql Server as the database.  The web services were built using WebApi.  A front end for viewing test results and creating sample documents was developed using Angular and Node.js.  3 types of validations were performed on documents: dynamic field, financial calculations, pdf compare using (Inet PDFC).

Data ToolKit

·               Data ToolKit is a Corporate Initiative developed to replace the Data group’s current manual method of processing auto parts vendor data files with an automated mapping web application.  Vendor files contain hundreds of thousands of records within a excel data file.   Mapping from vendor records to AutoAnything’s data is the goal for Data ToolKit through the completion of 9 mapping screens: from year/make/model, parts to product and submodel.

Added Test Automation to Continuous Integration Build

·               In TFS 2012 I implemented a build definition which kicked off selenium test automation against the AutoAnything Website.  The tests were run on our selenium grid which was a separate server from the build server.

JMS (Joint Space Operations Center (Jspoc) Mission System)

·               JMS is a SOA based infrastructure which includes application servers running Weblogic, database servers running Oracle, ESB servers running ServiceMix, Active Directory for user management, etc.  3^rd party applications are integrated into this virtual environment (VMWARE).

·               TCWS is comprised of a virtualized hosting platform providing segmented physical hardware and virtualized software platforms that provide portal, synchronous, and asynchronous collaboration capabilities to Marines.
